According to their website VoipBuster added some popular destinations to their list of free calls to various countries. You can talk for one minute only with a free account. You may buy credit in Euros to talk longer.
VoipBuster does offer free voip to voip calls and does not offer you a voip telephone number at this timeunless you buy credit for non-free calls. You can also call all your online friends (peer-to-peer calls) as long as you like, for free. The software is in beta stage. Installation on Windows XP is quick and easy and the Windows firewall asks if you want to unblock VoipBuster's ports.

When testing VoipBuster we tried to call our UK 0870 number but the software told us the destination was not a free call. Reviewing the list above we thought it would be. When calling our US offices the calls never completed, terminating instead with an error that told us the call was ended.
VoipBuster's website is here and the link opens in a new window so you will not lose your place. Given the low cost of calling plans this one is worth a look but one must consider the conversion to Euros and credit card surcharges if any. Their download is available without registering first.

The first time you start the VoipBuster, you will be asked to choose a User Name and password. The User Name and password fields are required in order to use the VoipBuster. You can choose any name but it must be at least 6 characters in length. If the name is already in use by someone else you will have to try another name. We were not prompted for the username, perhaps because the firewall warning overlayed the box. For a call to any regular phone, enter the desired number in the textbox and click the dial-button. If you are calling a land line in one of our free destinations, the call will be placed at no costs at all. For all other calls, you will be asked to buy credits first.
Please note that when you call a number (even if it's local) you should always dial 00 + countrycode + areacode + subscribernumber)
