Orchids and eBay of Windsor Missouri said today that as soon as their move from Warsaw Missouri is complete they will begin providing free WiFi Hotspot access in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz range. The staff said they anticipate end of beta testing by November 1, 2007. Orchids and eBay is located at 108 South Main Street in Windsor Missouri. “When lighting struck one of the local cell phone towers we noticed our 2.4GHz free open access traffic increased as newer cell phones switched to the first strong reliable signal” said a staff member.

“We will also provide 5 GHz access which is quieter and carries less traffic. High speed 802.11a/b/g wireless with a strong DSL backbone will provide our customers and visitors with convenient Internet connections” they also said. In the future a WiFi server may be implemented.
