PeerMe enables you to talk to anyone else on the PeerMe network, anytime, anywhere and you can control who is in your circle of friends thereby setting a privacy level that you feel comfortable with.
PeerMe also has a 'games channel' which allows you to play and preview games. We assume that gamers are able to talk to one another using the PeerMe software. We did not test the theory however.
The PeerMe software allows you to talk to anyone else on your PeerMe network over the internet, with no long distance charges. The sound quality is exceptional and when you are already on line, it is so much easier to integrate your calling on the PC than to grab a separate device and manually dial a phone number
PeerMe has developed a secure instant messaging platform which supports Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) PC to PC and PC to handheld voice communications, instant messaging, and peer-to-peer file transfer all securely encrypted over public internet connections.

PeerMe is easy to set up and use according to their website. To call one of your contacts, highlight his or her PeerMe ID in the list of on-line contacts and click on the green phone. To answer a call just click on the green phone at the bottom of the screen.
