IPKall lets you receive FREE calls with a Washington telephone number
Register your SIP IP phone with Free World Dialup, www.freeworldialup.com. When you register for FWD, you are assigned a FWD number.
After you receive your FWD number, register that number at IpKall, and you will be assigned a local number in Washington State. Give out your Washington state number to friends, family, business associates, and others around the world.
IPKall is a great example of how you do not need to be in the same location as your VoIP telephone number. A broadband user in Europe or China can have a Washington state telephone number. Many ask how this is done for free. In many cases the service is provided by a business that has excess bandwidth available. Examples might be a web hosting company with many high speed lines, some of which are unused.
IPKall is a free service and they do not sell products. Consequently they do not offer customer support but they do provide a very nice feature for VoIP and SIP users.
