Conference calling service and VoIP conferencing
Using a conference calling service can be expensive. Conference calling services work in different ways depending upon who sets up the conference call, whether it is inbound conferencing or outbound conference calling, and whether a conference organizer is paid per minute per caller.
Does conference calling already sound confusing? It did to us and we use conference calling. There are VoIP alternatives and many people do not understand the true value of these services.

The Stanaphone web page is located here on our website. Stanaphone gives us conference calling with a special phone number and a PIN number. It is inbound conferencing.
Years ago rural areas had party lines and you knew the call was for your home because of the way the ring sounded. Your neighbors and others knew you had a call and it was possible for them to pick up the phone at their home and listen in. A conference calling service works almost the same way - this is simplfied of course - when inbound callers enter a PIN number to access your conversation.
You have seen outbound conference calling service in the movies, or perhaps you use it yourself. Just tell the butler to call everyone and then buzz you when everyone is on the phone. No problem Jeeves, but we will use Stanaphone instead. Blackphone may be good too.
